Guesthouse El Khorbat. Room Sidi l’Houari
Location: 2nd floor. With traditional Moroccan shower.
The origin of the name Sidi l’Houari: The Ksar Sidi l’Houari is placed between the Zaouïa (a complex of buildings for Sufi ceremonies) with the same name and the tomb of its founder, a holly personality who came from Oran in the begin of the 19th century. The inhabitants speak Arabic and consider themselves as descendents of this Saint. In the Zaouïa, recognizable by its elegant minaret made of soil, we find a mausoleum, a Koran school, a mosque and an old library. They celebrate an important Sufi music festival once a year.
