The origin of the name Igoudamène:

The three Ksour of Igoudamène are erected at the bottom of the High Atlas, in a surrounding of extraordinary beauty. They were inhabited by Berbers Ait Merghad with nomad roots, part of whom invaded the oasis of Ferkla in the 19^th century. «Igoudamène» is the plural of «Agoudim», which means «watchtower».
