The origin of the name Igoudamène:

The three Ksour of Igoudamène are erected at the bottom of the High Atlas, in a surrounding of extraordinary beauty. They were inhabited by Berbers Ait Merghad with nomad roots, part of whom invaded the oasis of Ferkla in the 19.th century. "Igoudamène" is the plural of "Agoudim", which means watchtower.
